10 Ways To Make Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 Not Suck

10. No Shredder

First and foremost, the sequel needs another villain besides the Shredder. Much like the X-Men movies seem to think that Magneto is the only villain who matters, the Turtles are starting to think it€™s all about the Shredder. A lot of this is due to the influence of the animated series from the late 80s and early 90s, where Shredder pretty much was the sole villain, or at least the driving force behind most other villains. But the Turtles do have other villains. If you must use the Foot, then instead of the Shredder why not use his daughter, Karai, or Baxter Stockman? Both had small parts in the reboot, so there€™s already reason to use them. Or what about the Rat King, an enigmatic and creepy character that can give us a Turtles film with a completely different tone from anything seen before. Or go full-on galactic and bring in the Triceraton. It€™s time to give the Shredder a break, especially after the awful way he was treated in this reboot. He served as little more than a henchman and for some bizarre reason, was given a mech suit with ridiculously impractical weapons. Give another villain the spotlight to differentiate from the first movie and bring the Shredder back in grand fashion in a future sequel.
