http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=72J7gN1KDe4 Here's a cameo that just doesn't make any sense and seems completely incongruous, other than that George Lucas is friends with director John Landis, and thought he could get away with this frankly ridiculous appearance. So little in this scene makes sense; Axl Foley (Eddie Murphy) cuts in line for The Spider, so rather than shrug and wait for the next carriage, Lucas glumly grabs his wife and leaves the queue, as though all hope is lost. I guess at least this makes his amusingly literal credit, as the "Disappointed Man" fairly accurate. Truly bizarre all the same, though.
