So here we have an actor who became president, being played by another actor mimicking the period where he was president as part of the presentation of an 80's themed cafe in the future.

Does anybody else's head hurt a little after reading that?

Anyway, Ronald Reagan's appearance in Back to the Future II is rather brief - as he simply reels off a set of menu items as part of the aforementioned cafe - but it is still a notable appearance simply for being shot in the style of the Max Headroom TV show. Oh, and for the weird head battle he gets into with Ayatollah Khomeini while trying to take Marty's order of course.

Reagan was actually a fan of the original film, apparently enjoying the scene where Doc Brown can't believe he became President so much that he had it rewound so he could watch again. He even managed to include a reference to the film in his 1986 State of the Union address, so it is entirely likely that this second appearance would have gone over equally as well.
