10 What If? MCU Scenarios Marvel Should Explore

In an idea so good that it spanned its own separate spin-off special, this theoretical scenario covers what would have happened had Tony Stark secretly allied himself with the terrorist organisation that kidnap him, and start off his journey to become Iron Man.

This said, Iron Man being a 'traitor' doesn't necessarily have to place him with the people he opposed at the start of the first Iron Man film. Indeed, seeing him turn traitor at any of the key points of the MCU would be absolutely fascinating - especially any potential scenario that saw him either team up with Thanos, or use the Infinity Gauntlet for his own purposes.
