4. 3 From Hell
This is a movie horror fans will have to force themselves to pretend does not exist, as 3 From Hell completely ruins the ending of The Devil’s Rejects.
We discover the three main characters/villains did not die in an appropriate hail of gunfire at the end of The Devil’s Rejects, but they have been in prison for 10 years. They escape only to be dumped into an aimless movie with no discernible plot. Director Rob Zombie seems to think the movie can get by on Otis, Baby and the newly added Foxy’s snappy dialogue and one-liners. it can't.
Zombie mistakes our nostalgia for the previous two entries in this series as a love for the characters. However, these characters are vile people and without a wacky plot to throw them into everything feels hollow and gross.
How do you follow up two of the most beloved and bonkers horror movies of all time? Not like this.
