4. Freddy Got Fingered
Tom Green's ludicrously-titled Freddy Got Fingered has earned a reputation as one of the worst films ever made, yet even in spite of its dreadful moniker, somehow managed to make $14.3m at the box office, just barely breaking even. Yes, I'm still not quite sure how a film called Freddy Got Fingered managed to amass a $14m budget - given that most cinema chains probably wouldn't want to carry a film with that name due to the smutty connotations - but alas, it did, and even more incredulously, made its money back. Still, do I need to explain why this title is so awful? I'm not sure about you lot, but it always makes me think of Tom Green pleasuring Freddy Krueger, a thought which sends shivers up my shine as I type this very paragraph. Still, at least it's a consistent name I suppose; one of the worst films ever made deserves an appropriately crappy title to boot.
