10 Worst Performances In Awesome 2017 Movies

In light of the recent allegations against Kevin Spacey, plenty of his films are now unfortunately tainted somewhat by his presence in the cast. While movies like American Beauty and The Usual Suspects aren’t exactly unwatchable, we are seeing Spacey’s performances in them in a totally different light.

Baby Driver is a little bit different from these films though and that’s because Spacey’s performance as manipulative crime boss Doc is pretty much built around his character’s borderline unhealthy fixation with Ansel Elgort’s Baby – a young man who looks like he’s barely out of high school.

The way Doc controls Baby and threatens the lives of his loved ones if he fails to bow to his demands borders on the abusive and is made all the more disturbing now we know what we know.

Outside of the context of the allegations, Spacey’s turn as yet another master manipulator – a role we’ve seen him in many times before – isn’t even that impressive. One might even call it phoned in.

Taking those allegations into account, however, Spacey’s performance makes our skin crawl. It's barely even acting at all.
