10 Worst Sci-Fi Horror Movies Of All Time

8. Hellraiser: Bloodline

You know a horror franchise is out of ideas when it makes the jump to outer space. Leprechaun did it. Friday the 13th did it. And in 1996, Pinhead ventured into the cosmos in the dumpster fire that is Hellraiser: Bloodline.

Clive Barker's Hellraiser series centres around a puzzle box called the Lament Configuration that can unlock a gateway to Hell. The plot of this film revolves around the ancestors of the box's inventor and jumps between the 18th, 20th, and 22nd century. Due to the time jumps and the film's poor direction, it's very hard to follow what the literal hell is going on. And just to make it all the more confusing, 25 minutes was cut from the movie at the last second.

Even though Bloodline is only 75 minutes long, the abysmal acting and nonsensical story make it feel like an eternity. You know a movie is bad when it contains robots and demons in space and is still unable to maintain the viewer's interest.

Director, Kevin Yagher, hated how Bloodline turned out so much, he had himself credited under the infamous pseudonym Alan Smithee.
