10 Worst Villain Lairs In Movie History

8. Shadaloo City (Street Fighter)

M. Bison's plan is sorta genius in principal; you take a sizable army, head over to a small country (preferably an island) and stage a coup d'etat, seizing control and essentially granting yourself the ever-coveted diplomatic immunity, because nobody will be bothered to come over and try and claim the land back from you. During the opening segments of the film, Bison seems badass enough; he's taken a gang of relief workers hostage and is demanding a laughably unrealistic $20bn for their lives, while sitting cosily inside his base. The problem is that if you're holed up in a country you control, you need to make sure you keep tabs on what the Hell is going on. Bison doesn't, and right at the start of the freaking movie - otherwise we wouldn't have a movie, bear in mind - Guile (Jean-Claude Van Damme) and Cammy (Kylie Minogue), two agents for the Allied Nations, manage to sneak their way in, kick-starting the chain of events that brings Bison to his knees. The advice is simple: if your base of operations is going to consist of an entire state, you might want to employ some freaking security guards or at least put up some barbed wire or something...
