10 Worst Villain Lairs In Movie History

7. Zed's Basement (Pulp Fiction)

In one of Pulp Fiction's best scenes, Butch Coolidge (Bruce Willis) and Marcellus Wallace end up fighting their way into a pawn shop, but that's really just a front for some messed-up depravity that goes on below, courtesy of Zed (Peter Greene). The two end up held in the basement, with Marcellus being dragged off to be raped by Zed and an associate while Butch is watched by a gimp. Here's reason #1 this is a crappy lair: their lookout is a gimp, who cannot move or even speak. Hence, Butch promptly murders him and manages to escape. And here's mistake #2; Zed and his buddy didn't even lock the door to the upstairs part of the pawn shop; hence on his way out, Butch has a change of heart and decides to go back and help Marcellus, brandishing a samurai sword that he took off the shelf. Butch returns, cleans house, and the two survive, while Zed and his friend end up getting ripped apart.
