His name might not ring any bells, but he has a decent resume. His work as a writer involves the novel The Beach, which was turned into the 2000 film directed by Danny Boyle. He would again collaborate with Boyle on 28 Days Later, and then with Sunshine. He was also responsible for writing duties on Dredd, as well as providing the screenplay for the upcoming remake of Logan's Run, and the big screen adaptation of Halo. His body of work usually contains ordinary characters that get plucked out of their everyday lives, and subsequently dropped into extraordinary situations. Isn't that what the Justice League is about? Superman falls to Earth, a place that is foreign to his kind. Wonder Woman is taken out of her natural habitat of Themyscira and into the world of man. Hal Jordan meets a dying Alien and is given powers and responsibilities he could never imagine. Bruce Wayne has to deal with going from stopping Assassins and Bank Robbers, to teaming with aliens and helping stop malevolent Gods. I also must admit, I'd like the idea of the Justice League flick being directed by Danny Boyle, too.

I'm a fan of pop-culture in all mediums: Music, Film, Gaming, Comics, TV, Whatever. I can generally find something enjoyable in even the worst trash. I guess as a B-Horror enthusiast, I kind of have to. Currently I'm an author working on a manuscript for a crime novel, and attending school to be an Environmental Health and Safety Technician. In the past I've made a go at running in an election for MLA (Member of the Legislative Assembly) for my hometown of Glace Bay. I was 23 at the time, and though I lost (by like a lot), I learned a lot more about politics in a month than I ever learned. Get at me on Twitter @DanWilsonWC
