10 X-Men Characters That Deserve Their Own Movie

8. Jubilee

jubilee Bear with me. She may possess the incredible power of €˜razzle-dazzle€™, but Jubilation Lee could add an interesting angle to the X-Men franchise. Shooting aside the tired tropes that have appeared in the films to date, it€™d be great if Fox approached a comic book character such as Jubilee, and implanted them in a different genre altogether. Born in Beverly Hills, Jubilee was left in an orphanage after the brutal murder of her parents. Hiding away in a Hollywood mall, Jubilee soon discovered that she had the power to produce small explosions from the tips of her fingers, similar to fireworks. The strength of Jubilee€™s power normally varies, allowing her to just blind an enemy, or cause great harm to them with explosive bursts. Of course, her costume is utterly ridiculous. The yellow coat and pink shades are an acquired taste for some, but you could argue that it€™s at least distinctive. It just helps define her character, and adding that with her bubbly personality could make for a great on-screen presence. She was one of the main characters in the 90s X-Men cartoon, and she almost held her own against the likes of Sabretooth and the Juggernaut, so she€™s got some gall. It would be perfect to have a teen comedy focusing on Jubilee, with a mutant twist. As long as it appeals to a certain demographic, it could work out very nicely. If a movie does ever get considered, let€™s just hope that the vampire Jubilee is left alone. Yes, for a short period of time, she lost her powers and then became a vampire, for some totally pointless reason. That€™s comics for you.
