10 X-Men Characters That Deserve Their Own Movie

6. Jamie Madrox

madrox He was wasted in X-Men: The Last Stand, but Jamie Madrox (Multiple Man), clearly deserves his own movie. Madrox first appeared way back in 1975 in Giant-Sized Fantastic Four, and it wasn't until the 90s when writer Peter David properly developed the character, in the wonderful X-Factor series. As his mutant alias suggests, Jamie Madrox is capable of duplicating himself, through any form of impact. If he simply snaps his fingers, a perfect duplicate of Jamie will be formed, right down to the clothes. It€™s a great mutant gene to have, but the power recently came with some interesting drawbacks in the comics, thanks to Madrox spending too much time apart from his duplicates, which in turn fractured his mutant ability. Every duplicate he created looked the same, but didn't always act the same. Personalities differed in a variety of ways, as some would disobey direct orders, be too volatile or even too timid. It€™s the cause of several problems for Madrox throughout the series, and it has produced some interesting angles. It would be an extremely interesting direction for a movie to follow, especially if it strongly focused on X-Factor Investigations, a detective agency set up by Madrox, funded by his winnings on a game show. Madrox could either go after a rival agency that once left staff member Siryn for dead, or follow up on an entirely unique case. A detective thriller would work brilliantly, providing Fox do eventually branch out a little bit more. Madrox would be a fine lead, and the different personalities with each duplicate could make for some pretty engaging drama, and some rather enjoyable comedy. Add in a mysterious mutant murder, and then you've a great concoction.
