10 X-Men Characters We Want To See In Fox's Gambit
8. Sabretooth
Fox has already had two stabs at bringing Sabretooth to the screen with two distinctly different outcomes. The first time was utilising pro-wrestler Tyler Mane as a savage, muscular, and utterly forgettable henchman for Magneto in the original X-Men film, whist the second saw Liev Schreiber play the more straight up role of Wolverine's nemesis in X-Men Origins. Neither were particularly failures, but Schreiber in particular deserves a second crack at the role. Not only would an appearance by Sabretooth help tie the film to its parent franchise, but if played right it could also provide Gambit with a moment of peril. It wouldn't make sense as a large role, but an extended cameo would certainly be a fan pleaser, especially if it hints at Gambit's dark past with the Marauders.
