10 X-Men Characters We Want To See In Fox's Gambit
7. Bishop
Bishop's inclusion in a film like Gambit really does depend on whereabouts in the continuity Tatum's film sits. If it's set in the past we could see a young version of Bishop absorbing mutant powers and causing trouble for our hero, but if it's in the present then DOFP actor Omar Sy could appear and give us a glimpse of how the character fares in the new timeline now that he doesn't have to fight sentinels and have his consciousness thrown through time. To be honest, Bishop doesn't have much of a shared history with Gambit, but the character was underused in DOFP. The two characters' powers compliment each other rather well though, with Gambit charging items with kinetic energy and Bishop absorbing energy to power himself. It'd certainly make for an interesting fight.
