1. The Brotherhood Of Evil Mutants
The first X-Men movie featured a Magneto who was backed up by a team of villains, as did the two which followed. Unfortunately, all three of those failed to explore the dynamic between the iconic bad guy and his team, with the focus instead on the X-Men themselves. This was a missed opportunity, and one it appeared X-Men: First Class would rectify. The end of that movie teased the formation of Magneto's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, but the events leading up to X-Men: Days Of Future Past meant that most of his team were killed or MIA. Thankfully, Magneto's speech in the final act of the "inbetweenquel" was a rallying cry to his fellow mutants which will hopefully pay off big time in X-Men: Apocalypse as the Brotherhood goes into battle against the likes of Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Storm. Chances are that Magneto and the X-Men will be fighting side by side against Apocalypse, but Singer needs to explore the relationship between Michael Fassbender's mutant and those who decide to align themselves with him. It's something fans haven't seen before, and essential if X-Men: Apocalypse is going to be a knock-out entry in the series. What mistakes does Apocalypse need to fix?
