1. David Prowse Revealed The Empire Strikes Back Twist Two Years Before Release
This one is a little unclear, as it seems the decision to make Darth Vader Lukes father was only made during production on The Empire Strikes Back. However, Darth Vader star David Prowse told a fan convention in 1978 a full two years before The Empire Strikes Back release that Vader would be revealed as Lukes dad during an epic lightsaber duel. Since this was long before the internet or the invention of spoiler culture, this shocking reveal didnt spread like it would today. Its possible that Prowse might have just been joking about the twist, and accidentally called it correct. One thing that is clear is that George Lucas holds some kind of grudge against Prowse for revealing plot details, and has banned him from attending official Star Wars events; so maybe Lucas did hear about this fan convention after all.
