11 Changes The MCU Wishes It Could Make
2. Superior Villains
The MCU usually gets its heroes right, but villains are another matter entirely. It's been mostly downhill since Loki, who remains one of the only bad guys to evolve beyond 'vanilla evil' or 'corrupted by power'.
Whiplash, Yellowjacket, Malekith, and Ronan the Accuser head up a long list of foes who failed to live up to the standards set by Thor's adoptive brother, while the Red Skull was given a raw deal on screen time and The Abomination lived up to his name thanks to bad CGI.
There have been some recent exceptions to the rule, such as Nebula and Cate Blanchett's Hela - the Winter Soldier too, though he barely counts since he's more of an anti-hero these days - but Marvel must wish it could hop back in time to do some of its biggest villains more justice on the big screen.
By dropping the ball so many times when it comes to MCU antagonists, Marvel has put itself under a lot of pressure when it comes to Avengers: Infinity War. They simply have to learn from past mistakes and get Thanos right, or 10 years of storytelling could go down the pan.
