11 Lame Post-Credits Scenes Everyone Regrets Waiting For

2. The Super Koopa Cousins - Super Mario Bros. (1993)

The Scene: Two Japanese executives (presumably working for Nintendo) visit Spike (Richard Edson) and Iggy (Fisher Stevens) and suggest the idea of a video game based on their adventures, but don't know what to call it. Iggy suggests "Iggy's World", Spike says, "The Indomitable Spike", before the pair agree on "The Super Koopa Cousins". Cut to black. How Long You Waited: 4 minutes, 45 seconds. Why Everyone Regrets Staying For It: This is sadly the film's answer for intelligent satire, and while not as painful as a lot of material from the proper movie itself, it's still thoroughly tedious, and if you spent 5 minutes of your life waiting for it to show up (for some reason), you'd feel pretty robbed. Considering that the movie's final scene was a blatant sequel bait set-up, wouldn't it have made more sense to have the post-credits scene hint even further at what a second movie might bring, by introducing the villain or something? Just a thought... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXbIYfAIgos
