11 Minor Changes That Stopped Famous Movies From Sucking

10. Back To The Future's Iconic DeLorean Was Very Nearly A Refrigerator

Back To The Future Fridge Look, you could easily argue that some of the inclusions on this list wouldn't have ruined movies entirely, but merely changed them to the point that they aren't the iconic films that we remember today. Still, here's one that I genuinely believe would have seriously spoiled the magic of a classic, because can you really picture Back to the Future working if Marty and Doc had been travelling through time in a freakin' refrigerator? Let's agree that we cannot. Yes, at one point in production, writers Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale came up with the idea of a refrigerator unit being used as the time machine vessel, only to later realise that a) a time machine would probably need to be portable, and b) kids might start climbing into refrigerators so they could go back and time and get a second dessert or something. Not keen to have a bunch of dead frozen kids on their hands, they soon swapped it for the DeLorean.
