11 Predictions For DC’s 2 Mystery Comic Book Movies

1. The Batman/Under The Red Hood

As soon as Batman v Superman hinted at a dead Robin, the possibility of a Batman movie either jumping back in time to do Death In The Family, or dealing with the aftermath and adapting Under The Red Hood became distinct, exciting possibilities.

Whatever the storyline, a stand-alone Batman movie is coming, and hopefully it will do as expected and seat Ben Affleck in the director's chair. He's never better than when he's directing himself and the possibility of seeing his style of film-making shaping the Batman universe is as exciting as Christopher Nolan's tenure.

The benefits of not requiring an origin story shouldn't be underplayed either: we get to see a fully operational Batman for the first time in four films, and hopefully we'll see him in full detective mode, rather than constantly dealing with his own issues.

Probability: 10/10

It's surely only a matter of time before the 2018 slot goes to Batman. All that remains now is the question of which Batman film we'll actually get to see.
