6. Slipknot

How He Could Die: Arguably Slipknot's most memorable moment in the comics involves Captain Boomerang convincing him that the bomb attached to his arm is a dud, at which point he flees and loses said arm as the bomb detonates.

It wouldn't be surprising in the slightest if this scene showed up in the movie, as it has the potential to be one of the film's most uproariously funny moments. It's possible that the original scene could be tweaked a little, though, and even cause Slipknot's death, especially considering how little he figures in the trailers, which has led many fans to believe that he's not really a big deal in the movie at all.

Why He Probably Won't: Then again, the explosion didn't kill him in the comics, so it would be a pretty big leap to kill him off.
