5. Adam Is The New Killer – Saw: Legacy
The Saw movies used to be an annual tradition until audiences got sick of their yearly dose of grim torture and soap opera plotting. The series “ended” with The Final Chapter in 2010, though that obviously wasn’t going to last.
2017 will see the return of Saw, and while plot details are thin it will apparently be in continuity with the other movies. Naturally, fans are wondering who the villain will be, since Jigsaw is long dead, and his apprentice Hoffman certainly looked doomed at the end of the last movie. The logical answer is Dr Gordon himself, who was the main victim in the original and was forced to play a game alongside photographer Adam.
Adam lost his game and was eventually suffocated and left to rot. That said, fans are insistent that not only is he somehow alive but that he’ll be the new villain in Legacy. It doesn’t make much sense, but that’s never stopped a Saw plot twist before.
