12 Acting Salaries You Simply Won't Believe

8. Adam Sandler - Anger Management

Salary: $60 Million Poor Adam Sandler has had a rough few years; there was the controversy over the depiction of Native American characters in The Ridiculous Six, his terrible comedies have been regularly underperforming and he keeps topping the list of most overpaid actors in Hollywood. Even his attempt at doing a nice indie dramedy €“ The Cobbler €“ was a critical and commercial disaster; the guy just can€™t catch a break. He had a good run to be fair, earning $20 million plus grosses for most of his leading man roles. He reached the apex with Anger Management, the beloved comedy where he€™s a frustrated man-child receiving therapy from Jack Nicholson. You may remember it was later adapted into a sitcom with Charlie Sheen or €“ if you€™re lucky €“ you don€™t. Anyway, he got $25 million for starring and a nice share of the profits, and since the film was a sizeable hit (curse you, cinema audiences of 2003!) he got over $60 million total from it.

Handsome. Charismatic. Intelligent. Noble. Witty. I'm none of these things, but I'm a half decent writer, I guess.
