12 Bafflingly High 2017 IMDB Scores You Will Not Believe
7. King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword (6.9)
Though Guy Ritchie's gritty King Arthur reboot does have its legion of defenders, and it's certainly better than most critics deemed it to be, it's still hard to justify IMDB's masses almost giving it a 7/10.
That's a majority disparity with the Rotten Tomatoes critical average of just 4.7, and given the film's rather fast-and-loose approach to narrative, characterisation and action, awarding it a 7 feels way off the mark.
The Score It Deserves: Splitting the difference (ish) between critics and audiences feels right here: 5.7. Effectively, it's close to being a three-star movie at times, but not quite there overall.
