One of the greatest sequels ever made, an all-timer in both the action and sci-fi genres, and a groundbreaking technical achievement that kicked the doors off the CGI revolution, Terminator 2: Judgement Day was a huge milestone for blockbuster cinema in more ways than one.

The most expensive movie in history at the time, Judgement Day is a far cry from the first installment's lean, mean thriller, with James Cameron doing what James Cameron does by pushing the boundaries of what audiences thought was possible on the big screen, without ever losing sight of the characters at the heart of the story.

Linda Hamilton's startling transformation from timid waitress to grizzled warrior, some of Arnold Schwarzengger's best-ever one-liners, Robert Patrick's shape-shifting villain and several grandstanding action sequences, there are so many aspects of Terminator 2 that have transcended the sci-fi genre and become iconic in their own right.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
