At first glance, Better Watch Out seems like a movie you've seen a thousand times; A babysitter goes to watch a young boy when an intruder gets in the house and terrorizes everyone. Thus, forcing the babysitter to muster up all her strength and confront the big bad intruder and save the lives of herself and the boy she's watching. However, Better Watch Out is more than this, as the tropes get tossed out the window as the film progresses.
