12 Delayed 2021 Movies That Really Weren't Worth The Wait

2. The Woman In The Window

This promising-sounding thriller wasn't just delayed due to the coronavirus, but also thanks to many disastrous test screenings which prompted rewrites and reshoots. Eventually, this movie skipped cinemas and landed on Netflix.

Therefore, there was definitely reason to be worried about this one and many feared that this was a dud that the studio had basically released just to wash their hands of it... and anyone who predicted that was absolutely correct.

Perhaps one of the worst films ever made by a prestigious director, The Woman in the Window is a complete disaster.

Filled with ugly visuals, atrocious writing and unintentional comedy, The Woman in the Window will be painful viewing for anyone who's misfortunate enough to see it.

It also gives many amazing actors insultingly small and insubstantial roles, and concludes with a laughably dreadful climax and a killer reveal you'll see from miles off. As you'd expect, Amy Adams does good work in the lead role but that isn't enough to make this wretched Rear Window rip-off anywhere near watchable.

All in all, yikes.
