12 Greatest Ever Character Entrances In MCU History
6. Captain America (Avengers: Infinity War)
When Thanos came to Earth and kickstarted his fight against the Avengers, it couldn’t have come at a worse time for Earth's Mightiest Heroes. After Civil War, much of the team were on the run from the government, and weren’t speaking with Tony Stark.
Vision had stolen away from Team Iron Man to be with Wanda, and while in Scotland the two were ambushed by two of Thanos’ Black Order. Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight attacked the pair, and would have taken the Mind Stone from the android if not for him being rescued by his former leader.
Captain America hadn’t been seen in the MCU in three years (two if you count the PSA videos in Spider-Man: Homecoming), and his return saw him as a rugged version of himself, stripped of any Avengers branding, with an atypical but glorious beard, and to the background of the classic and beloved Avengers music.
Coming out of the shadows to save Vision, this was a goosebumps moment in cinemas, and apparently set audiences wilder than ever at the screening of the very first Infinity War footage. It’s not hard to understand why.
