Kevin Kölsch and Dennis Widmyer's 2014 horror movie focuses on the world of Hollywood, the dark side to the glitz and glamour, and acts as a horrific metaphor for the price of fame. Something made far more poignant and relevant in recent years.

Sarah, an aspiring actress living in LA and struggling to find her big break, finds a slim ray of hope from one audition. However, when she is called back everything is not as it first seemed, in a stark reminder that if something seems too good to be true, it probably is.

The casting directors test Sarah's resolve, and what she would be willing to do to make a splash in Hollywood. This results in the young woman being used and abused by a production company that hide a dark secret from her.

Doctor Sleep's Alex Essoe gives a haunting, compelling performance as Sarah Walker at the centre of the movie's powerful story, something that deserves to be seen by a lot more people that it has been.
