10. Cold Snap - Mindhunters
Mindhunters is a delightfully cheesy b-movie from 2005, but its troubled production found it being dumped on DVD in most countries. A pity, since it’s an enjoyable watch with a surprisingly strong cast, and it delights in finding gruesome ways to off them.
It sets the bar high with Christian Slater’s character, who appears to be the lead until he meets a gruesome end. While exploring a supposedly abandoned island he comes across an elaborate series of dominos in a house, which he activates for the hell of it, which is all fun until they release a tank of liquid nitrogen.
Spray from the tank freezes him to the spot, and his team watch helplessly as he gradually snaps apart before them.
