12 Horrific Horror Movie Deaths You’ve (Probably) Never Seen

The original Cube quickly became a cult smash in 1997, thanks to its unique concept and creative traps. The two sequels failed to capture the sweaty dread of the original, but they upped the stakes with some nasty deaths of their own.

Cube Zero is the unnecessary prequel which sheds more light on what the Cube is supposed to be. It’s not very good, but it sure opens with a bang. The opening finds a poor soul trapped inside the cube looking for a way out, only to get sprayed by hoses. To his relief, it just seems to be water, but soon his skin turns soggy and squishy. Turns out the water was flesh eating bacteria, which quickly eats through him and turns him into a puddle.

Thankfully the over the top effects prevent this from being too grim, but it’s still a nasty way to go.
