12 Huge Questions For The Future Of The MCU
2. About That Time Jump (And Billions Of People Unvanishing)?
Everyone who died in the decimation is suddenly alive again in a world that’s been without them for five years. Everything isn't just fine.
It may seem that way at the end of Endgame and in the trailers for Spider-Man: Far From Home, but realistically these people can’t just head back into their old lives when the people they return to had moved on after five years. Not to mention all the non-existent jobs since many companies probably went out of business in those five years.
How will the consequences of billions of people suddenly un-vanishing be handled?
Answer: This being Marvel, they’ll probably just gloss over it like everything’s fine.
But since we’ll be seeing an un-snapped world in Spider-Man: Far From Home later this summer, we need to see the consequences of the decimation being undone like that. We saw how the decimation changed the world; things can’t magically go back to the way they were because that’s not how it works.
But they’ll probably just pretend it does anyway. *Sigh*
