12 Marvel Characters You Didn't Notice Are Already In The MCU

1. The Living Tribunal - Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness

One of the coolest moments in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is when our titular character travels through multiple realities with America Chavez to evade the Scarlet Witch. In this 40-second snippet, we see our heroes enter over 20 universes, including those populated with fish, dinosaurs, and robots.

Because this sequence is crammed with overwhelming imagery, some of which appears for less than a second, many viewers didn't notice the finer details. (Except the world made of paint. That was pretty cool.) As Strange is tossed between the fabrics of all realities, he briefly stumbles into the dimension governed by The Living Tribunal. For those who don't know, this three-faced entity judges all actions of the multiverse and answers directly to God, making him among the most powerful beings in Marvel.

Since the golden bodied godling first appeared in a Doctor Strange comic, it was logical for him to make his MCU debut in this film. And since his history is tied with the Sorcerer Supreme, this might not just be a random cameo. Based on the way The Multiverse of Madness ended, the Living Tribunal may play a big part in the follow-up.
