12 Most Surprising Revelations In 2016's Comic Book Movies

7. Havok Is About 40 Years Old - X-Men: Apocalypse

X Men Apocalypse Havok

The Revelation: Considering that Apocalypse takes place in 1983 and Havok (Lucas Till) was around 18 years of age during First Class (which was set in 1962), we can logically deduce that the superhero is meant to be in his very late-30s or early 40s at the time of the latest film.

Why It Was Surprising: Just take a look at Lucas Till: the guy was 25 years old when filming Apocalypse and honestly could easily pass for his early 20s, which only exacerbates the ridiculous aging continuity in these movies.

That's without even mentioning the fact that Havok's brother Cyclops (Tye Sheridan) is meant to be a high-schooler in the film, making him more than 20 years younger than Havok, despite the fact they look close to the same age.

The most hilarious thing is that this will potentially just get more ridiculous in future movies if the time leaps continue while retaining much of the First Class trilogy's cast.
