12 Movie Openings That Totally Trolled Audiences

Okay, so this one makes the list because directors/ BASEketball stars Trey Parker and Matt Stone put in work to ensure this flick opened with a clever troll of a sequence.

But anyone familiar with South Park wasn't likely to be fooled.

Nonetheless, the Oscar-nominated animated feature South Park: Bigger Longer and Uncut opens like any other critically acclaimed cartoon. Its first musical number is a cheery tune about small town life which wouldn't sound out of place in a then-recent Disney Renaissance-era effort.

The film that follows, however… is not one.

Maybe it was the explicit sexual relationship between the Devil and Saddam Hussein that gave it away, or one young boy's search for the mythical clitoris, or the record-breaking amount of swearing, or all the gory onscreen deaths, or just everything about South Park as a franchise...
