12 Movies Friends Stars Want You To Forget

2. 'Til There Was You

Til There Was You
Paramount Pictures

The One With Dylan McDermott.

Hey, they can't all be winners. Since Friends, Jennifer Aniston has made a lot of romantic comedies.

Some, she has more cause to be embarrassed about than others (The Bounty Hunter, anyone?) but one of the less well known is this dull 1997 romcom from director Scott Winant. That's not really her fault at all though, given that she's not really the focus and nor does she have all that much to do.

Aniston - not yet having hit superstardom on the big screen - doesn't really have much of a story as dullard Debbie. Not romantic enough, nor particularly comedic (and saddled with a smug male lead in Dylan McDermott), 'Til There Was You sits at a lowly 5% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, amidst complaints of its plodding story and lack of purpose.

Aniston, of course, would make a full recovery, going on to do very well for herself as one of Hollywood's leading queens of romantic comedy.
