12 Movies You Probably Hated The First Time Round (But Loved The Second)

12. Iron Man 3

The First Time: "Oh man, they totally wasted that Mandarin character. I thought Ben Kingsley was going to be the main villain rather than some goofy joke. What a waste." (x10 if you're a comic book nerd) The Second Time: Having recovered from the blind-side of that Mandarin plot twist, it's a lot easier to just sit back and enjoy what was on the whole a pretty entertaining comic book movie. Knowing what's coming and what Shane Black had planned all along, it's a lot more fun to watch Guy Pearce skulking around, knowing he's not going to be some wasted supporting character. And let's be honest, even if you didn't like the Mandarin twist, Ben Kingsley's performance in this movie is absolutely hilarious. Harley still sucks, sure, but the movie is a blast if you can let go of this issue.
