As the only animation to make it onto this list, Finding Nemo has a lot to prove. "Why not Toy Story?" you ask. "Or Toy Story Two?" "Because," I respond, "the Toy Story trilogy is a masterpiece that makes me cry and I cannot handle that more than once a year." So I present you with Finding Nemo. A feel good story (aside from the very opening) with constant comic relief courtesy of Ellen Degeneres, who is never anything but swell. The animation is great, the story has a happy ending, and even Bruce - the big bad guy - is a total charmer. The characters are memorable and happy and leave you wanting more. So instead of looking for a crummy sequel, just watch the movie again! It's fun for the whole family while still reaching into the dark to make us feel the ups and down of Marlin and Dory's journey (but it's not too dark, like Brave was). This movie is also weirdly quotable, and out of everything on this list, is also the most likely to be appreciated by children of all ages.
