In Game of Thrones, Charles Dance brought the stoic Tywin Lannister to life as an intimidating force, willing to do anything in the name of his family. This is so easily transferred over to Magneto, where instead of the Lannisters fighting against the rest of Westeros, it is the Brotherhood of Mutants fighting against the rest of the world.
