4. Ryan Reynolds As Deadpool

For many years, the ideal candidate for the role of the Merc with a Mouth, Deadpool, has been viewed as being Ryan Reynolds. He is funny, charismatic and plays the kind of annoying character that Deadpool is brilliantly. The masses supposedly got their wish when he was cast as Wade Wilson in X-Men Origins: Wolverine - but everyone knows how terribly that turned out. However, that film has now been written out of continuity and Reynolds has been confirmed as playing the character in a titular movie - one that will surely be more faithful to the smack-talking and humorous comic book version. Test footage for Reynolds playing a more familiar looking version of Deadpool has been released and it looked great. Some people claim to be worried that the idea of Reynolds as Deadpool is now too sullied to work again - but that's nonsense. There's a simple solution to that problem - forget that movie ever happened. Easy. Don't forget, also, that Ryan Reynolds didn't even portray the lame final version of Wade Wilson in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, apart from in close-up shots.
