11. Jeremy Irons As Alfred Pennyworth

Alfred Pennyworth has been ably portrayed in live action Batman films by the likes of Michael Gough and Michael Caine and is currently being played by Sean Pertwee in the Gotham television series. He has also been played by various other actors in different media, but none seem quite as well suited as Jeremy Irons. Irons will take on the role in Batman Vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice and he looks perfect for it. He can be stern and tough, prim and proper, as well as sarcastic and humorous and those are all traits a good Alfred should have. The Academy Award winning Englishman is a real coup for DC and Warner Brothers and it will be very interesting to see what he brings to the role.
