12 Potential Post-Credits Scenes For Avengers: Age Of Ultron

3. Asgard Pre-Ragnarok

The announcement that Tom Hiddleston and Idris Elba were going to be in Age Of Ultron originally fuelled rumours the post credits scene would be set in Asgard, involving Loki and Heimdall. As they're included in the official cast (as seen on the poster), however, it's more likely this scene will be part of the film's main narrative. Still, don't rule out a scene involving Asgard in some form. Thor: Ragnarok is a long way off (it's still two years away), but it's likely to be the next time audiences see the God of Thunder after Age Of Ultron (the action is mostly stuck in our realm until then). Quite what an Asgard scene would entail greatly depends on what the Ragnarok of the Thor threequel's subtitle is referring to; is it the evil clone of a deceased Thor or the mythical apocalypse of Asgard? Either way, a scene heralding the apocalypse was rumoured just under a year ago, so this one has some traction. You also have, of course, that whole "Loki's not dead somehow and is now posing as Odin" twist from the end of Thor: The Dark World which is yet to be addressed. Could a pay-off of that see "Odin" giving the Tesseract to Thanos? Likelihood: 6/10
