6. The Rise Of The Inhumans

It can't have escaped any comic fan's notice that Marvel's focus has been making a shift as of late. Once iconic runs, namely Fantastic Four and X-Men, have become sidelined by former D-List members Guardians Of The Galaxy and the Inhumans. After last summer you can't help but be aware of Star-Lord and co., but the Inhumans are still on the rise. They've become a prominent force in Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. and they'll make their big screen debut in Age Of Ultron with Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver retconned to be among their numbers. In the comics, superhumans with a heavily cosmic slant, the MCU version appears to be a bit more broad, encapsulating non-scientifically gifted supers. Why these hitherto unknown groups are being pushed to prominence is as simple as it is, as always, rooted in contract law; as Marvel don't have the rights to Fantastic Four or X-Men (Fox does), they're simply creating their own, equivalent teams. Questionable as it may be to do so by forcing the other out of print, this means that Inhumans are going to be very important in the MCU going forward, making some wider clarification of just what they are in this world needed. So, post-credit scene? No other potential stinger feels quite so expansive, touching all corners of the franchise. Likelihood: 7/10
