12 Worst Casting Decisions In Spider-Man Movies

5. Jamie Foxx As Electro (Spider-Man 2)

Amazing Spider-Man 2 Electro
Sony Pictures

Jamie Foxx struggled to pass for an uncool loner, and even the bad glasses, goofy hair and crooked teeth don't make him a convincing Max Dillon.

It's not the actor's fault that the script has him transition to supervillainy and unabashed hatred of Spider-Man overnight, but somebody with more underdog cred would have been a more believable Electo.

On the plus side, Foxx's high voltage villain did bring us one of the series' greatest set pieces when he did battle with Spider-Man in Times Square. Talk about sparks flying!

But why did turning into Electro fix Dillon's wonky teeth?
