4. The Last Exorcism Part II

Likewise, this doesn't just apply to The Last Exorcism Part II, but any nonsensical movie title that promotes itself as the first or last of something...part two. The original Last Exorcism was a surprisingly entertaining horror flick and a box office success...which of course led to a sequel with the lazy aforementioned title. So, the Last Exorcism wasn't really the "last exorcism", was it? Literally any other title, no matter how generic it might've sounded, wouldn't have seemed quite as stupid as this. With talks of a third film on the way despite the second movie's disappointing box office, hopefully they'll opt to break the pattern rather than lean back on the even worse The Last Exorcism Part III. And for good measure, another example comes by way of Rambo: First Blood Part II, which again, isn't really the "first blood". Rambo: Second Blood is more apt (though a Godawful title), while the simple Rambo II is a much more effective title, and what most people refer to it as anyway.
