12. Chris Pratt Teams Up With Domesticated Raptors - Jurassic World

The Theory: The reason that protagonist Owen (Chris Pratt) is driving his motorcycle alongside a gang of raptors without being eaten is because the raptors are domesticated (genetically or otherwise) to bend to the will of humans, and in the climax of the movie, he uses them to take down the antagonist, the hybrid dinosaur Diabolus Rex. Why It Could Be True: Because on the basis of what's been shown off in the first trailer, it otherwise looks mightily stupid to see Pratt driving along with some raptors who aren't electing to chew his face off like they've tried to do with everyone else in this franchise. Why It's Probably Not: An easy explanation is that the raptors aren't pre-occupied with feasting on Owen because they, like him, are running from the D-Rex rather than racing to take it on.
