4. A Police Academy Reboot Nobody Asked For

The Pitch: After an 8th Police Academy movie failed to materialise in the 18 years since Mission to Moscow, in 2012 a reboot was announced, with a new, young gang of goofball police officers trying to make it as cops. Last April, sketch show comedians Key & Peele were announced to be producing. What Happened?: It's another project that's just going to stagnate and stagnate, like so many other proposed movie reboots that never happened (remember the Naked Gun reboot?). Not a peep has been heard in the 9 months since this producer announcement, and without any other concrete details, this'll just fade out as the lack of interest (hopefully) becomes apparent. Hasn't the Jump Street reboot already covered the sort of ground this movie could hope to? There's just no need for it at all.
