12. Switch's Terrible Line Reading Ensures Nobody Will Miss Her - The Matrix

The Scene: Cypher (Joe Pantoliano) reveals himself to be a turncoat for the agents and threatens to start unplugging the team from The Matrix, which would of course kill them. After Cypher says, "If you have anything terribly important to say to Switch, I suggest you say it now", Switch (Belinda McClory) quips, "Not like this...not like this", and promptly dies as Cypher unplugs her. Why It Sucks: It's obviously a pivotal moment in the movie as it reveals Cypher's true colours to Trinity and co., though McClory's cringe-worthy, robotic line reading certainly undoes some of its impact. Still, she's taken out of the movie three seconds later never to be seen again, so it's not all bad...
