4. When Tod Is Released Back Into The Wild
Devastation Rating: 9/10 The Fox and The Hound isn't one of Disney's better known movies - but it should be, for the gut-wrenching pain it creates when Widow Tweed does the natural thing and releases her 'pet' fox back into the forest where really he belongs. He's a big fox now, right? And he needs to go and mingle with some other foxes before he becomes socially inept. However, knowing it's the right thing doesn't make watching the scene any easier: Tod thinks he's being taken for a ride in the car and ends up feeling utterly betrayed in the middle of an unknown forest - oh, and a storm is brewing. Get the tissues out, quick: the memory alone is just too much to handle.

I love Stephen King and music festivals; I eat my toast upside down; I daydream about getting married probably a bit too much; and I wish every day for a pet sausage dog puppy (who never materialises – sob).
